Nicky Mariano’s sister, Baroness Anrep, was in charge of the library up until BB’s death. In 1959 Nicky asked a young scholar, Michael Rinehart, to work on the lists of Florentine painters for Phaidon Press, and he recounts what he found of the library systems that Baroness Anrep had set up.
