Liliana Ciullini (at right) - Governante, worked at I Tatti 1947-2012

Liliana came to work in the household staff at Villa I Tatti in 1947. Part of her daily work was looking after Bernard Berenson. In later years, when the Harvard University Center was established, Liliana became the Governante at the Villa. Not only is Liliana remembered by all the Fellows and visitors who came to the Villa during the fifty years she worked there, she remembers each one of them, and their children. Liliana retired in 2012 and now lives with her brother Bruno in a newly refurbished apartment in Ponte a Mensola.
